Annie Rea
Practice Principal
Physiotherapy & Acupuncture

Annie qualified back in the Dark Ages and started her Physio career at Glenfield Hospital. She has worked extensively throughout the NHS and private practices in Leicester and Coventry and providing physio cover for swimming clubs.
Following a career break Annie returned to practice at LOROS Hospice and private practice in Loughborough before opening Natural Elements in 2016. After picking up an injury with her own hip Annie developed a particular interest in hip issues particularly in young adults and menopausal women.

She is a keen tennis fan, although less so now Rafa has retired :( and after having two rock climbing kids has treated more than her fair share of climbers and their various broken bits !

Alex Balc
Senior Physiotherapist
Physiotherapy & Acupuncture

Since completing her Physiotherapy training in 2010, Alex has worked in both NHS and Private Practice in Yorkshire, Buckinghamshire and Leicestershire before finally settling in sunny Leicester. She enjoys treating a range of musculo-skeletal conditions using a combinationof Physiotherapy, Acupuncture, Electro-Acupuncture and Deep Oscillation Therapy ( TM ).

She is a keen gym bunny herself, a bit of a petrol head in regards to her own car and has worked as a professional croupier - she VERY swiftly cleaned us out at our at-home casino night !

Ross Dixey
Senior Physiotherapist
​
Ross qualified from Coventry University in 2015 and has extensive experience working in the NHS and private practice during his time in Leicester. As well as his work with us at Natural Elements he currently works as a musculoskeletal specialist physiotherapist in Leicester Hospitals. He treats a range of conditions but enjoys specialising in lower limb rehab and return-to-sport. He also works closely with GP's in primary care as a First Contact Physiotherapist diagnosing Muscul-skeletal pain.
In his spare time Ross enjoys a round of golf ( although he is keeping coy about his handicap ! ) and is a keen weightlifter ..... when he manages to find time now that he has a young daughter to keep him running around !

Rosie Rushin
Sports Therapist, Specialist Massage & Rehabilitation Therapist

Rosie graduated in 2016 from Cardiff Metropolitan University gaining a degree in Sports Conditioning, rehabilitation and massage. Rosie always had a keen interest in sport at a young age which encouraged her passion to helping people achieve their goals through different soft tissue treatment.
​
Her main interest these days are four - legged ... her ever increasing spaniel pack who she competes with at national level. to support her super competitive canines Rosie has also qualified as a Canine Conditioning massage therapist enabling her to continue supporting both four legged AND two legged patients in their quest for better movement and comfort.

Adam Nolan
Physiotherapist
​Adam qualified from Brunel University of London and then worked across several NHS hospitals in London. He then went on to teach anatomy at the same university before relocating to Leicester in 2021 where he is now working as a senior physiotherapist at Glenfield Hospital. Adam is now working towards a postgraduate certificate in Human Anatomy through Keele University.
​
Adam competes in powerlifting at both regional and national level so is particularly interested in sporting injuries ( not sure if he prefers being the giver or reciver of Physio ! )
Away from work, Adam plays football and although he stopped playing rugby in 2021, he is looking forward to his first outing since at a charity match in August this year!

Tom Randon
Physiotherapist

Tom has a robust background working in the NHS in Leicester Hospitals, He is currently working as a n Senior Physiotherapist specialising in all things musculoskeletal. As an active participant in various sporting events, including rugby, cycling, and long-distance running, Tom has first hand experience of how the body responds to different activities and how to best piece it back together again once broken ! He uses his own sports background to tailor each persons’ rehabilitation to their own fitness and goals.
After completing his first London Marathon in 2023 sadly his training for the Valencia Marathon this year was derailed by an injury but he is hoping to complete his next challenge soon.

Jonathan ( JB ) Bott
Sports Massage Therapist & Running Coach

JB is a keen runner himself having completed four marathons in his time and has years of experience as a running coach with both junior and adults athletics coaching. He is a personal fitness coach and sports massage therapist with a particular interest in supporting those training for running events such as half marathons, marathons or maybe just achieving a PB at the local ParkRun ... all great running journeys start somewhere.

In his spare time he is a keen rugby fan having spent years watching his son from the sidelines and also watching Leicester Tigers when he gets the chance.

Jo Smith
Reflexologist, Deep Tissue Massage, Specialist Massage Therapy, Scar Therapy & Holistic Therapist

Jo's interest in Reflexology and Holistic therapies started a long time ago but has only flourished into a career in the past seven years. Her scope of practice includes using Reflexology in a SEN school supporting atypical neural disorders and specialist massage and scar therapy for cancer patients at both LOROS and Rainbows hospices.
At Natural Elements Jo uses her Reflexology, Holistic and Massage therapies to help relieve pain, improve wellbeing and sleep and ease stress.
She is our Rudy pups favourite person in the clinic largely as he often persuades her to take him for cheeky walk around the block with her at lunchtime
